Aquis Exchange, the alternative trading venue founded by City veteran Alasdair Haynes, is seeking external investors to buy out its biggest shareholder.

London-headquartered Aquis has counted the Warsaw Stock Exchange as an investor since August 2013 — the year of its launch — but people familiar with the matter said the time could be right for the eastern European bourse to sell.
