The annual charity Ark gala organised by hedge fund manager and philanthropist Arki Busson will unveil two new international health programmes this evening, when more than 800 financial professionals across London will descend on the charity auction and dinner to be held at the old Eurostar Terminal in Waterloo Station.
The Arkadian Garden-themed dinner will unveil plans for an initiative to reduce maternal mortality in Zimbabwe. The second project will focus on Zambia and the introduction of a rotavirus vaccine to prevent diarrhoea amongst children, a cause of 14,000 deaths in children in the country each year.
