Armstrong hires distribution head as it targets $2bn

Boutique fund manager is diversifying its business in a bid to quadruple assets under management over the next 18 months

Boutique investment house Armstrong Investment Managers has appointed a new head of distribution, as it looks to grow assets under a revised strategy following the departure of one of its co-founders.

The independent manager has taken on Christopher Sullivan as it aims to quadruple assets over the next 18 months, according to its chief executive. The firm, set up in 2009, manages $500 million.
