Arrow Therapeutics, a private London-based research company specialising in anti-infective drug discovery, has raised £21m (€29.9m) in Europe's largest life sciences funding round this year.

This third-round funding was led by Atlas Venture and included previous investors GIMV, Alta Partners, 3i Group, Techno Venture Management (TVM), Unibio and NVM. New investors in the round include Scottish Widows Investment Partnership as well as NIF and ITX, two Japanese venture capital houses.
