Ashurst plugs US gap with two hires

Ashurst Morris Crisp, the UK law firm, has hired two US-qualified lawyers to help fill the gap left after merger talks with a US firm ended in May.

Daniel Bushner, previously a partner at Clifford Chance in London, has joined Ashurst Morris Crisp as a partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. In addition, Eric Stuart, who was an associate at Rogers & Wells and subsequently at Clifford Chance when the two firms merged, will become a partner. Both lawyers are based in Ashurst Morris Crisp's London office.
