Asset managers say cyber crime threat is rising

Almost two-thirds of senior asset management executives think the cyber crime threat is rising, according to an industry survey — findings that come as a spate of high-profile attacks and new EU regulations have brought the issue into focus.

Osney Media and BackBay Communications have released a report based on a survey of 88 decision-makers at asset management firms in February this year. The findings are being presented at the TSAM conference in London on Tuesday.
