Morgan Stanley's head of sales and marketing for private wealth management in Europe, Middle East and Africa has resigned, prompting a restructuring of the US bank's management ranks.

Ausaf Abbas left his role last month after four years at Morgan Stanley, a spokesman for the bank said.
