Aviva appoints Amanda Blanc as chief executive officer

Outgoing CEO Maurice Tulloch is stepping down for familly health reasons

The FTSE 100 insurance firm has appointed industry veteran Amanda Blanc as its new chief executive officer.

Blanc will replace Maurice Tulloch, the previous CEO of Aviva, who has stepped down for family health reasons, according to a company statement released on 6 July.
