Aviva Investors creates investment engineering team to assist AI push

Aviva Investors, the £238bn asset management division of the UK insurance group, has established an central investment engineering team as part of a wider push into artificial intelligence.

The new nine-strong team, a cohort of data scientists and software engineers, has been formed to assist investment teams across the fund group with the creation of bespoke AI tools.
