Axa Investment Managers has hired Cynthia Voorhees from Principal Global Investors as head of credit research amid a reorganisation of its research team that sees former head Elissar Boujaoude take a six-month sabbatical.

Voorhees joins Axa after 15 years at Principal Global Investors, a fund management firm, where she held several roles, most recently heading the 22-strong global credit research group. At Axa, she will oversee the development of the credit research team, reporting to Vincent Cornet, global fixed income chief investment officer.
