AXA Investment Managers is setting its sights on building business in the insurance sector with the hire of an associate director to its institutional sales team in London.

Andrew Douglas will be responsible for developing relationships in the UK insurance sector at the funds arm of the French insurance giant. He will report to Rob Barrett, UK head of institutional sales, according to a statement from the firm.
