B-business partners, the pan-European venture capital firm, has completed an €8m ($7m) funding round for esual Software, an internet technology company, three weeks after raising €15m for AEP, an internet security company.
After the internet bubble burst, the dotcoms and associated businesses fell faster and further than any of the other technology companies. The possibility of them achieving an initial public offering (IPO) evaporated and private equity firms that had previously rushed to put their money into them retreated in haste.
