Baillie Gifford loses leading UK fund manager to rival

Baillie Gifford has lost Tony Foster, one of its leading UK equity fund managers, to rival Scottish investment house Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Foster, who is resigning after 10 years at Baillie Gifford, will join Scottish Widows on September 18 and will report to Alan Denham, acting head of UK equities.
