Baillie Gifford loses Wisconsin mandate

The $70bn (€55bn) Wisconsin Investment Board has axed the independent Scottish fund manager Baillie Gifford from running $104m in global equities. The assets were transferred to Fidelity, which now manages $1bn in active international equities for the fund.

A spokesman for Baillie Gifford declined to comment on the mandate loss, but said the product had had "a mixed performance" lately.
