Baillie Gifford’s required reading for the tech economy

Reading recommendations from one of the UK's top investors

James Anderson, head of global equities at Scotland’s Baillie Gifford, has drawn on the work of scientists, economists, and research organisations such as the Santa Fe Institute to frame his investment strategy, which focuses on “exponential technologies” and companies with the potential for unusually long-term growth.

As he explained in a recent interview with Barron’s, companies such as Amazon.com, Tencent Holdings, Alibaba Group, and Tesla offer just such “outsize opportunities”.
