Tideford Organic Foods is famous for its Waitrose soup and Jupiter Asset Management's Simon Baker has landed in it.

He has decided to leave Jupiter after 12 years as a fund manager and environmental consultant to help develop Tideford, which has been in business since 1997. Founder Diana Cooper started the company after concocting a successful recipe for pesto out of Italian basil grown in her glasshouse.
