Banca IMI, the Italian bank, has integrated its front and back office applications as part of an integration infrastructure project aimed at implementing end-to-end straight-through processing (STP), the automation of the entire trading chain to eliminate manual processes.

The project is based on a technology platform from SeeBeyond, the US-based application integration solution provider. The platform provides real-time STP across counterparty, geography and instruments.
