Bank of America has hired a clutch of senior dealmakers to bolster its new advisory team focused on ESG, an increasingly hot area of recruitment for the world's largest investment banks.

The US bank has hired former BNP Paribas dealmaker Alexandra Basirov as a managing director and head of EMEA ESG advisory and financing solutions, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News and confirmed by a spokesperson. She will join in September.
