Bank of England consults with affected staff amid plans for new hub in Leeds

The Bank has begun a consultation with 34 affected staff

The Bank of England is set to open a new north of England hub in Leeds following in the footsteps of the Treasury which said last month it would open a base in Darlington.

The Bank said it had begun a consultation with 34 affected staff amid plans for its intended Leeds hub, which is part of a wider strategy to increase the proportion of its workforce outside London and the South East.
