Bank of Ireland replaces asset management chief

Brian Goggin is to replace William Cotter as chief executive of asset management and securities services at the Bank of Ireland, following Cotter's retirement after 16 years in the role.

Goggin will leave his current position as chief executive of wholesale financial services, which he has held for six years. However, he will continue as head of group credit and market risk and remain chairman of the group's risk policy committee.
