Bank Sarasin & Cie said Monday it is opening an office in Nuremberg, marking a further expansion into the German market for wealthy clients.

"The opening of this branch is a further step in the process of driving the growth of our business in the Sarasin group's second most important private banking market in Europe after Switzerland," private banking head Eric Sarasin said in a statement.
