Bankers are preparing for a year of upheaval in their work serving corporate customers, as technological disruption and regulation change how business is done – and new competitors emerge to challenge their dominance.

"Transaction banking as we know it is definitely under transformation, and now is the time to define what kind of bank we want to be in the future," said Paula Da Silva, head of transaction services at SEB "This requires that we use our investments wisely and expand our creativity, but above all it requires close collaboration internally and with our customers."
