Banking keeps its glitter

Investment banking's appeal as a career choice for students remains strong, despite one of the worst bear markets and charges of fraud in financial markets, a new survey shows.

A total of 13% of 7,000 students in Europe chose the profession as one of their three top career choices, down from 15% last year, the report by Universum survey company said. Management consulting was most popular, at 23%, while 16% chose marketing and advertising.
