International banks are telling Hong Kong-based employees to make alternative travel arrangements or work from home after thousands of anti-government protestors flooded the region’s main airport.

Hong Kong International Airport has grounded all departing flights, saying in a statement on Monday: “Other than departure flights that have completed the check-in process and the arrival flights already heading to Hong Kong, all other flights have been cancelled for the rest of today.”
