Barclays Capital has created a new global finance and risk solutions group for the Asia Pacific region and named two new co-heads to run it, in a move that completes finance group's global coverage following the formation of teams in the US and Europe.

Andrew Jones, a managing director in Barclays Capital's bond syndicate business in London, and Patrick Kwan, head of derivatives and financing solutions for Barclays Capital in Hong Kong, have been named co-heads of the new group, which composes debt capital markets, equity capital markets, loan origination and leveraged finance.
