Barclays appoints global finance co-heads

Barclays, the UK bank, has appointed John Langley and Joe McGrath as co-heads of the global finance and risk solutions business in its investment banking division. The role will involve McGrath and Langley joining the investment banking division's executive committee. The pair are replacing Larry Wieseneck, who has been appointed chief strategy officer. Since 2011, Langley has been head of global risk solutions, whilst McGrath began as head of global leveraged finance in 2010.
