Barclays Capital has appointed Steve Francis as a managing director within the bank's corporate finance advisory group.

Francis will advise clients on corporate and finance strategy. He joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was head of the mergers and acquisitions consulting practice for Europe and the Middle East.
