UK investment bank Barclays Capital has continued its push into the equity capital market with its latest high-profile appointment, with the hiring of Morgan Stanley’s former European head of electronic trading.

David Tait, a former executive director at Morgan Stanley, joined Barclays Capital on June 1 to head up its European program trading desk, reporting to Dixit Joshi, the head of European and Asian equities at Barclays, and Jeff Radkte, head of program trading at the bank. His title will be head of EU program trading.
