Barclays Capital has recruited Edward Ritter from Deutsche Bank as a director in its US government bond trading team based in New York.

Ritter will be responsible for market making in the short coupon sector of the government bond curve. He will report to John Roberts, head of the US primary dealership at Barclays Capital.
