Barclays chief Davis quits

Citigroup's Jenkins joins Barclaycard

Roger Davis, chairman and chief executive of UK banking and a board member at Barclays, has quit.

Davis, a former chief executive of Barclays Capital, the group's investment banking arm, in Asia Pacific, will leave in April 2006 but "remain available to the group until October 2006" according to a statement.
