Barclays has named leaders of a new sustainable banking group that sits within its capital markets team as the UK lender continues a push into advising on the transition to net-zero carbon emissions.

The bank has promoted Susan Barron and Cindy Quan as co-heads of the new unit, which will combine its sustainable capital markets and ESG advisory teams, it said in a statement.
