Barclays is preparing to deep clean parts of its investment bank in Canary Wharf after a worker there was confirmed as suffering with the Covid-19 coronavirus.

The employee on the ninth floor of the Barclays office in London's docklands — which is close to its UK headquarters — had been self-isolating since Monday, according to a person familiar with the matter.
