Barclays to create 2,500 new jobs at Scottish tech campus

Barclays has revealed plans for a 470,000 square foot campus in the heart of Glasgow, creating up to 2,500 new jobs in technology and operations.

The UK bank, which plans to double its headcount in Scotland, described the development as “one of the small number of key global sites” and said it has secured a £12.5m grant from public body Scottish Enterprise to help towards the costs.
