Barclays Wealth adds three advisers in Scotland

The UK's largest wealth manager creates three new roles north of the border as part of aggressive five-year growth strategy

Barclays Wealth has added three specialist wealth advisers to its business in Scotland as it continues on its five-year expansion strategy.

In January 2010, the UK's largest wealth manager launched its £350m investment plan, known as Project Gamma, which aims to double the number of global private bankers to 1,300 by 2015 and propel it into the top five wealth managers in the world. Of the investment, 40% is earmarked for expanding Barclays Wealth's teams.
