Colin Harte is joining Baring Asset Management as director of global fixed income in the fixed income specialist investment team.

Harte will report to Rory MacLeod and concentrate on global and multi-currency portfolios. He joins Barings from Norwich Union, where he was a member of the asset allocation committee and investment director and head of international fixed income.
