Bats Chi-X Europe and Morgan Stanley stole the show at last night's 12th annual Financial News Awards for Excellence in Trading and Technology, each racking up a hat-trick of prestigious prizes.

More than 300 guests and award nominees gathered at London's Victoria & Albert Museum, as Bats Chi-X Europe scooped the awards for Best Equities Trading Platform, Most Innovative Trading Product/Service for its BXTR offering and Post-Trade Initiative of the Year, to recognise its achievements in bringing about interoperability for ETFs.
