CFO of Bats Global Markets says the exchange is exploring ways to remain in the EU without moving its 'major operational centre' in the City

Bats wants main operations to stay in London after Brexit

Bats Global Markets, operator of the largest stock exchange in Europe, has underscored a desire for London to remain its operational hub in the region following a Brexit.

On a November 3 analyst call announcing the group's third-quarter results, Brian Schell, Bats' chief financial officer, said: "We are exploring a number of avenues to remain in Europe post-Brexit without moving our major operational centre in London."
