The UK publisher of the iconic Beano comic featuring Dennis the Menace and Gnasher is to take a stake in an independent research network in preparation for new European rules on unbundling.

The Electronic Research Interchange, or Eric, a free marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of company, industry and macro research, said in a statement it is partnering with DC Thomson, the private UK media group.
