Bear Stearns hires new head of convertibles research

Bear Stearns has recruited Rao Aisola from Morgan Stanley as head of convertible bond research, replacing Yaw Debrah who joined Merrill Lynch in April.

Aisola will be responsible for a team of researchers focusing on a variety of strategies including convertible arbitrage, capital structure arbitrage, index and special situations. Research is part of the convertible bond group led by Steve Meyer.
