Kanwardeep Ahluwalia has been promoted within Bear Stearns to be head of risk management for Europe and Asia.

Ahluwalia, who has been at the firm for five years, currently runs a Bear Stearns team responsible for the risk management coverage of a variety of cash and derivative trading areas spanning equity, sovereign debt credit trading.
