Bear Stearns & Co has entered into an arrangement with researchsummary.com, the web-based research technology developer, to promote the adoption of Rixml version 2.0.

Rixml is an open standard, based on extensible mark-up language (XML) that is designed to improve the categorisation, aggregation, comparison, sorting and distribution of global financial and investment research. The recently launched Version 2 expands its original equity research focus to include corporate fixed-income research, as well as offering an events group and calendar.
