Belgian semiconductor firm abandons Nasdaq Europe

Icos Vision Systems, the Belgian semiconductor inspection firm, has applied to list on Euronext Brussels, and plans to delist from Nasdaq Europe because of the exchange's lack of liquidity.

Anton Duproft, president and chief executive of Icos, said: "We decided to apply for listing on Euronext to provide our investors in the Eurozone with a liquid and transparent trading platform and to increase the liquidity in the stock. A listing on Euronext will raise Icos' visibility in the Belgian and European capital markets, by providing better access to institutional and retail markets."
