Edizione Holding Company, the privately run Italian investment company owned by the Benetton retailing family, has said it wants to invest in energy and is eyeing two deals.

Il Sole 24 Ore, the Italian newspaper reports today that Gilberto Benetton, chairman of Edizione, told it: "We are certainly interested in the power sector and we look at every opportunity that comes up."
