Berlin-based Moonfare lets individual investors with a minimum of €100,000 invest in private equity funds through its online platform

Germany’s oldest private bank Berenberg has partnered with fintech company Moonfare to provide its customers access to private equity funds.

Berlin-based Moonfare lets individual investors with a minimum of €100,000 invest in private equity funds through its online platform for an annual management fee of 0.5%, according to its website. The business has approximately 5,000 active users on its platform and has invested more than €300m so far. The company collaborates with some of the biggest private equity firms in the world including KKR, Carlyle, EQT and Warburg Pincus.
