The head of equities at Bank of Ireland Asset Management and one of the three replacements for chief investment officer Chris Reilly is leaving the company at the end of July after only a year in the post.

Paul Boyne was promoted to managing director of global equities last July, alongside Sean Crowe, who became head of fixed income, and Chris Johns, who was brought in from broker Collins Stewart to lead research efforts.
