Regulation, but bigger

When Nikhil Rathi won a second term as head of the Financial Conduct Authority in April, it was a pretty big deal. In fact, he was the first person ever to be reappointed to run the markets watchdog in its 12-year history.

It was such a big deal that we thought we’d use freedom of information laws to get hold of correspondence between Rathi’s office and the Treasury.
