Bill Ackman’s Spac more than halves in value on deal concerns

Sell-off came in the wake of Ackman’s announcement that he is prepared to wind down Pershing Square Tontine Holdings because of a shareholder lawsuit

The perils of owning warrants on special purpose acquisition companies have been illustrated by the recent price decline in the warrants issued by Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Tontine Holdings.

The warrants were trading at $1.42 on 25 August, down from nearly $3 on 19 August.
