Two women will lead KPMG in the UK for the first time in its 150-year history, in a move to steady the Big Four firm which hit the headlines this week due to its investigation and then resignation of chair Bill Michael.
Michael stepped down on 12 February after the firm said it would probe comments he made a virtual town hall meeting on 8 February, where he described unconscious bias as “complete crap” and told staff not to moan about working life during the pandemic.
