Bird & Bird, the law firm, has hired seven former Deloitte Legal lawyers to boost its recently opened Milan office.

Alberto Salvadè joins as a partner from Deloitte Legal, where he ran the Italian corporate group covering Milan, Pedova and Rome. He was formerly with Andersen Legal, which was acquired by Deloitte Legal last year. He brings with him a team of five assistants and one "of counsel", with specialisations in corporate, mergers and acquisitions and commercial law. Salvadè has experience in several sectors, including information technology, telecoms, banking and finance.
