Janus Henderson Investors has appointed BlackRock’s global head of compliance as its chief risk officer, as the asset management sector faces significant regulatory challenges.
Georgina Fogo, who appeared on Financial News’s list of influential City women in 2017, is to join the newly merged Anglo-US firm in July. She will oversee and develop its risk and compliance functions globally, and replaces David Kowalski who retired in 2017.
